Pretty Boy Poem by Jesus Silva

Pretty Boy

You may hear this often

But I will say it just as nice

Sureness in me

Can improve simplicity in your life

You utter words

People claim to deny

You say words

People may think your insane

You whisper words

People may not understand

Confidence in me

I acknowledge those utters

I believe those sayings

I comprehend those whispers

You may hear this often

I am blind

But I have advantages

I will not judge you by your looks

How would I if i could?

I will prove to you

What you think

Is what I care about

As days progress

Absence in beauty

Will arise

You are left with what I discern

What I notice

Is people have no concern

Character

So tell me

Can you still impress me?

When I lack the ability to see

That you’re handsome
