Pretty Girl Poem by Lely Atempa

Pretty Girl

You see a pretty girl
You think oh my god
I want to be just like her

There is so much more that you don't know,
About this pretty girl

She goes and shops in the day
Then hunts at night
You see her as a pretty girl

Like a beautiful flower before it dies

Most of the time she's broke
Sometimes she's rich

And sometimes she just quits
But most of the time she can be a complete monster

Coming into your life and your dreams

She's so much more than just a pretty girl
You see her laughing and giggling
Then you hear her scream and cry

She's a daughter and a sister
A fighter and a lover
A pretty girl with problems

Is a solution to everyone's personal problems

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We have to look inside ourselves for a solution to our problems not other people because they are not always there to help or going to help.
