Prices Poem by Derry Dose

Prices

I'm set in the world of rate,
Every price is of great debate,
Price for living,
Price for death,
Every moment is worth some lakhs.

The price I hold for my body,
Can be paid by anybody,
The price of a smile which I hold,
Is something which no one told.

I'm in a expensive debt,
Every drop of blood can't pay it back.

The price to be someone's love,
Is what makes it very tough,
The price to feel,
the price to cry,
Has set a forever fear in my eye.

I'm broke in this world of wealth,
Just give me freedom and let me scream,
Now I know that freedoms worth more,
I cannot pay it even if I cut my throat.
Every moment is worth so much,
Maybe I should just give up,
Price for life,
Price of death,
The world is expensive With expensive tax.
