Pride Poem by Stevie Hogendoorn

Pride

When you prefer to feed pride it becomes bigger.
Bigger than your heart, soul, than all your reasoning.
Anger and stubbornness will then prevail.
They can destroy many things that you’ve gained from love, life and it will scar the beauty within yourself.
Though pride cannot be killed, you could choose to let it starve and let it think about the damage it has done.
And maybe it will be proud once again

@Ryan: Converting pride as sin to pride as a virtue, so yes you're right; -)
