Leaving the spiritual for the mondaine
Loosing all trust and faith
Once bitten and twice again
Falling to my knees with constant ache
All that's lost can't be regained
I fell from pride to pain

Thick sadness booms all around
Open minded I have nothing to hide
Terrible thoughts flow every hour
A sunny day turned Grimm night
Self esteem going through decay
I fell from pride to pain

I hear stories of grass to grace
I wish for this everyday
It's seems like just a fairy tale
Or at least a height I can't attain
Will things always be this way?
Can I be restored to my first estate?
So finally I can look and unsay
I fell from pride to pain
