Princess Diana Poem by Sonia Ode Lucci

Princess Diana

I am happy to be alive, but I miss you my Princess Di.

You led the fairy tale by becoming the Princess of Wales. Mere words cannot describe the goodness of you as a human being. I could see it in your actions. The giving just flowed like the wind.

Here is my gift that I will share. I wrote about you because I know you really cared.

You took the time to help the ones in need, and for all we know, this made you feel free.

Grant us our Lord, for the millions around the world that still share the agony of our Princess' death. Give us the ability to stay positive through life's tests.

Lord of the suffering and broken hearted, we ask for her children's peace. May your light shine on their path, so their happiness can be perceived.

The choice you made when you reigned as our princess, was to help the less fortunate, and I know your love, they do greatly miss it.

You extended your arms and you touched the sick, and now your life is being remembered in a way that it is not meek.

Lord of the suffering and broken hearted, let the greatness of joy shine on us all. Let us learn from her, so we can give our all.

Grant us our Lord for the millions around the world no matter what language we choose, to keep her memory alive, in trusted in you.
