The peacock: coloured, beautiful
Flowered with splendour, valor
Become Short sighted and full of self
Boasted of her supremacy, exquisiteness
Princess of the animal kingdom
drunk with bulletproff delusions
Insulted that cared of her too
Down upon them, she looked
Till the people's king locused her
Desired her feathers for his gear
Her meat for the queens soup
Her scales for the herbalist portion
Mercilessly harvesting all of her
Of her Nothing was unaccounted
Thus nothing was burried
Just tales such as this,
Remained attesting of her existence
Of her prejudice and pride
Of a fallen glory and grandiose
Of vanity of vanity
