Prison Cell Poem by Brittaney Static

Prison Cell

Theres an confined jar inside
Under a layer of muscles and mucus
A jar of unspoken words
And unresolved feelings

Your voice opens the jar
Your face opens the jar
Every single little
Thing about you
Opens this Pandora

I cover my eyes with yours
I shut my mouth with your fingers
I bind my hands with your ropes
You're my favorite syndrome
