Profound Solitude Poem by Davion Krustov

Profound Solitude

Hiding in a corner
Embracing hope
Living like a martyr
Hanging from a rope
Looking in the mirror
Not recognizing the face
Staring into fear
And losing this race
Reality slips
As I fall
Watch the scales tip
And on my knees crawl
Listen to the sounds
As the whispering grows
Finding whats to be found
Is what everyone knows
Living in the lie
Trying to feel good
Wanting to die
Before I live like I should
I got everyone fooled
Just so you know,
That I'm perfectly fine
With putting up a show
