Promise Of Change - Poem by Tim DiVito
Cloud not your dreams with visions of yesterday,
Instead let live today with joy of the moment.
Fear not the future, for in it is promise,
The promise of great wealth that strengthens your heart.
Let be the dogs of war that enrage your soul,
For yesterday lies dead and buried in the earth.
Covered by such evil memories are these times,
They shall not invade your carefree sunlit mornings,
Let them not dim the moonlight of your spirit,
For it must soar freely on the wind of change.
