Promised
i promised not to leave you
promised not to go
why does it always hurt
when you say we won't be
cause i miss you
it hurts but we always said
once we end it
it's going to be the end
you promised not to leave me
promised you won't go
we said forever our love was going to go
forever is a mighty long time to see
things were left unsaid
feelings weren't shown
we said goodbye
even as our hearts said no
