Protection Poem by Rose Marie Cook

Protection

The harder he hits
The longer I cry
He smiles cruely
I'm now terrified

He sits too close
His hands wander
His voice is firm
He knows what he wants

My hand in his control
He pulls it hard
This is his strength
His greatest pleasure

He pushes me down
Climbs on top
Kisses me deeply
His hands don't stop

Raking, crawling
His nails scrape against my skin
Blood drips from open wounds
He bites in making me scream

I look for His protection
As I'm down on my knees
Look for His forgivness
But no one rescues me
