Proud Of Me Poem by Ben Kaiser

Proud Of Me

Rating: 5.0

The time is ticking and the game is in my hands
I can hear my fans all up in the stands
Hear it comes the moment we all wanted to see
I get tackled short, right near the three
I look up not knowing what will be
I look over at the stands as the fans are staring at me
I think to myself this is it I’m done
All of sudden a clap appears from my son
All of a sudden everyone joined along
Then I realized everything I have done
Now I know what is meant to be
All I cared about was my son to be proud of me

As with the other poem of yours I commented on, your rhyming is legit, but I'm still not feeling your flow(as in Naughty By Nature's Feel Me Flow, good song) . Listen to some of your favorite songs or read some of your favorite poems, and above all else, you'll realize how well the words flow out of your mouth as you say them. I'd suggest making a more conscious effort at the flow of your poems, the better the words flow, the more easily the rhyming will come. Keep it up Mr. Kaiser
