Faith Poem by Ben Kaiser

I've lost faith and I don't know why.
But each night I seem to cry and cry.

Each day gets worse and worse.
And everyday I fell the pain of remorse.

But this is what they expect of me.
Even though you don't know sh^t about me.

So go ahead and put me down.
And sure maybe you will see me frown.

But don't think you got the best of me.
Because I was told to lead and believe.

So don't think I've lost faith.
Because I'll hit you so hard, like a spray of mace.
And todays the day I'll never lose faith.
