Proud Ogling Peacock Poem by Minnoor srinivasan

Proud Ogling Peacock

As you dance it doth fascinate
The soul of the frenzied female mate
In the train of feathers eyes galore
Unfolding color and hue splendor!
You dance in ecstasy spontaneously
At your will under cloudy canopy
You strut about unfurl Beauty!
Shed one or two feathers in glee
Bewitching eyes beckon us to see
Arrays of colors at once open
Blue green bluish tint and so on!
Feasting the painters' quizzical eye!
Befitting the crest on your head
Proud ogling attracts, ennui fled!
