Psalms 56: 3 Poem by courtney helm

Psalms 56: 3

I admit I’m terrified,
Next year I’m taking pre-AP English,
I’m thinking of all the what mights,
I know it will be hard,
So I cried to God out loud,
I knew he follow me like a guard,
But I was still afraid,
I called on him more,
And said, “I’m scared you’re going to ignore”,
It is something I deserve,
For not paying enough attention,
What if I hit a curve?
What if I get detention?
What If I’m a failure?
What if I don’t know the answer for sure?
What if I get humiliated?
What if I don’t make it?
Then I remember Psalms 56: 3
