Pull The Trigger Poem by Harley Halford

Pull The Trigger

Rating: 3.8

If your life falls apart,
Then someone special broke your heart.

You cry cry cry all day long,
Wondering what happened,
What you did wrong.

Suddenly, the cold barrel of the gun
feels good against your chin.

You've always known that your heart
wouldn't, maybe couldn't win.

You picture their face,
Beautiful and safe.

Imagine they try to stop you,
But you know it's all fake.

There's a loud boom.

Everything goes black.

You hear a scream,
And you realize,

That your beloved was real,
And had come back.
