Punishment Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Punishment

Punishment in the cold room,
Left alone with nothing to do.
No food no water,
Just a stinky box of litter,
Can’t look outside,
Sit and wait for my reprieve,
They said I did something wrong,
I was doing what came naturally,
I was play outside and being frisky,
I am just a cat you see.
