Punishment Poem by Sujoy Bhattacharya

Punishment

A flying bird can't fly in the sky .
It has got one of his wings wounded.
Trenchant arrow of a flippant hunter
has mage a deep injury preventing it from
flying. It can'ttalk to the floating clouds.
It is lo g since it has not bathed in the
blueness of the endless sky. The bird sheds tears of agony
sitting alone on the twig of a tamarind tree.
A python consoled the lamenting bird and took a resolution
to punish the wicked hunter. The python searched for the cruel hunter. The polestar helped the python to identify the rogue.
The irate python wrung his wrist so that he could never use his
bow and arrow to cripple wings of any bird.
Alien effigies sent a letter of congratulations to the python.
