I Mancipation Poem by Sujoy Bhattacharya

I Mancipation

Rating: 5.0

Emancipation
The mango tree wizened
With her offspring's weight.
The wind did not blow hard
to release her burden?
Birds showed apathy to taste
the juice of mango inebriating!
She wants to have her fruits killed
to put out pancreatic fire of
unfed drones. A fleet of floating
clouds admonished her pouring some
large raindrops on her shameless head.
Shaking off leaves and fruits the bliss
she enjoys none other than trees
can belch out the relics! At long last an
untimely tempest relieved her with the
delightful sigh of a mother releases
after giving birth to a newborn baby.
