Escape Poem by Sujoy Bhattacharya

I am floating and floating...
The blueness of the sky was dyeing my heart with azure aroma!
The fleet of the floating nimbus greeted me with
cajoling warmth.
The perplexed swans sniffed my body to drive away the
annoying vapour of suspicion.
The cosmic dwellers peeped out radiating wonders!
A strange figure was going to invade the cosmos.
I had no earthly sense to mitigate
their anxiety and curiosity.
The stars were whispering inaudible murmurs!
The irate sun snarled to terrify the blue planet below.
A black hole sucked me in its womb and
Cosmic tranquillity was re-established.
The roaring of the thunder brought me back
from the dream land -
how intense was my desire to escape from the
dandified din and bustle of the morbid
human hub- the most perilous place to live in!
