Puppy Love
I know what a dog feels like
staring out out the pane
waiting ever for your return
driving myself insane
I know what dog feels like
longing for your touch
a kiss on cheek
a pat
a hug
an I missed you so much
I know what a dog feels like
left out in the street
abandoned of all promises
absent of a treat
I know what a dog feels like
and right now I want to bite.
