Pure And True Love Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Pure And True Love

The winds may blow, and shadows creep,
Old tales are whispered, secrets deep.
But through the doubt, a truth shines bright,
Their love, a steady, burning light.

When others point, and words are thrown,
They plant their trust, a seed they've sown.
When burdens press, a heavy load,
They walk as one, on life's hard road.

Beyond the crowns, beyond the show,
Two hearts that vowed, and watched it grow.
They shield each other, strong and true,
Through darkest days, they see it through.

He doesn't waver, doesn't flee,
She holds on tight, for all to see.
For love, they show, is not a game,
But holding fast, through storm and flame.

It's in the moments, when things break,
They stand as one, for goodness sake.
Though heavy news may fill the air,
Their love, a hope beyond compare.

No outside voice, no counsel sought,
A feeling pure, intensely wrought.
A private fire, a tender art,
Protected deep within each heart.
