Purgatory Cleansing Poem by Daniel Miltz

Purgatory Cleansing

Horns and red suits abound
Pursuing miscreants around
A horrendous spot of difficult dire
Durable, discipline with fire
Ideally, prayers of the unwavering
Purge a soul to heaven
Each sinner's conquest
Will be made manifest
Any and all strife
Committed in human life
Since it will be uncovered by admission
Of each 'doubting Thomas' deposition
God-forgiving
Directing a spirit to paradise crossing
Prior to knocking on heaven's door
Must be purgatory pure
And believe fully for
Adoration of our God-creator
