A sinner in wait of you
I wait for you, O Death!
Like the flowers in a garden wait
For the dew
To wash away their sin.
Do not dither,
During your visit
Purify me in line with the rituals
Drawn for me only,
I shall not complain.
In this life,
Why else should we meet at all?
O Death.
