Purr Fact Day Poem by (TPAC) Alexander Coppedge

Purr Fact Day

A bell sounds a bang, singing a note outwards, shattering dark night's silence; await, out of the quiet fang: I'm asleep, a tang in my ears.

A joker hidden, a plot, she's being playful, intending to fill, bent will, down by legal Hill, in a firmly ended transaction, now a law; no freedom for her: in a cage.

A lioness swiftly approaches her; creeps done by progressive rips, sips flips on solid concrete, foot leap dip to reach her prey.

Her mind inside, projects this wrap, map laid, planned a cap, sunrise, at dawn, revelation it's to catch, night figure; holding it in an eye: a trap.

Brightly the sun's rays, twinkling down, alter, seen after her peer, sinister sight, to filter from dark; stops actions; behold: two round balls.

Her freedom has a served dessert, limited room in a yard by a seal, jealousy, rage not a plus, denied an appeal, got a slap: ponders deal.

Liberty, an unjust, this fluff soul stops, states a legal judgment, cuff enforced, law rules, it is a muff; act like a stuffed cat: mock at a dog.
