Pushed Poem by Khaleel Steir

Pushed

I can't explain how hard it pushes me
Like a tidal wave crashing over the rocks
It's just how I was made, raised, taught by the wolves
It's the competition that drives me
The fire burns brighter, burns harder, almost god-like
Can you feel the heat, see the determination?
Words can't really explain it
Like why a shark is so aggressive
It's a natural instinct, survival of the fittest
and I'm next for the throne
