Putin's Shirtfront - Julie's Stare

In October 2014,
Australian Foreign Minister,
famed starer Julie Bishop,

stared at blue-eyed Putin
for an easily-countered ten minutes
in the first meeting between

an Australian and him
after Tony Abbott said
he'd shirtfront him

over the destruction
by ground-to-air missile
of airplane MH17 in July, '14.

Since then has Putin thought, it seems,
that 'a stare from Julie Bishop'
is what 'a shirtfront' means.
