Puzzle Poem by Peter Elven Edwards

Puzzle

My mind works overtime,
Looking for a pattern,
Up in the clouds flying,
In the face of reason,
Outside the box,
Pushing at doors,
Undoing locks,
But still searching for the key,
That will explain,
How much remains a mystery,
And I try in vain,
To see the spark,
That pinprick of light,
As I fumble in the dark,
Of this long night,
Until I find the stars.
