Puzzles Of Tears - Poem by Cynthia Sok

collecting the droplets of memories
I put them back piece by piece
with every correction
I get flashbacks

flashbacks of happiness
of the laughters that kept me going
the dreams that helped me pursue my goal
the days that were unforgettable

with the pure rain sliding down my cheeks
I feel an emptiness
like this wasn't reality
that nothing was true

with every droplet
I try to hold onto it
trying to keep the happiness
