Pyramid Dancer

Rating: 5.0

I race among the pyramids,
Dancing in their shadows,
My feet shuffling the hot,
Yellow sand below me.
The sun on my face is
Warm and caressing,
And my jewels smile
And gleam in the sunlight.
I look up above me,
To the points near the sky,
And embrace my faith
In the Watchers so far.

I race among the pyramids,
Dancing beneath the heavens,
My feet shuffling the cool,
Grainy sand below me.
The moon on my back is
Gentle and bright,
And my jewels glisten
And jingle in its wake.
I look up above me,
To the points near the sky,
And realize now
That I am free.
