Sweet, Sweet Angel of Mine,
let me see your shine throughout the night,
unfold your wing across my life.
and let us share the moments of days gone by.
Sail with me in my deepest dream,
sit with me as the rain drops into the sea.

Queen of Angels stay by me
as we swim the smiling sea.
you cracked the shell around my heart,
and found your way across,
everything that kept us apart.

And the stars at night speak a story,
of the angel that crossed the bridge of light,
shining forever in my eyes.
Guide me to the jewelled moon,
for the day always comes too soon.

I could paint the story written in your eyes,
but no colours would express
the different hues of light.

The clouds are the vessel of your tears.
while the heavens thunder with rage.
You breathe the wind to whisper,
the tales of days gone by,

fill this cup with eternal desire,
let my soul burn in fire,
for I wish to fly forever by your side.

But fly away, sweet, sweet of angel of mine,
for your place is somewhere in paradise,
and not by my side,
and as you fly in the sky,
shed your tears in my eyes.
