Emotions Poem by Sergio D'Amico

Emotions

Rating: 5.0

In your heart I plant the seeds,
With tears you nourish their needs
Let the leaves shelter your tender skin,
from emotions that burn from deep within.

When the sea and the wind are wed,
Vessels dance to a tune so sad,
On this day a siren is born,
and from a mother's clutches
another sailor is torn.

And birds beneath the oceans fly,
and many a merry men cry,
and waters kiss the rocks to sand
and I swim where I once had ran.

The seeds do now unfold
into flowers of beaut untold
and the heart, unable to withhold
lets all of its emotions flow.
