I sit and watch a Blanket of Blue
and it dawns on me there is more than one hue
to help me express
my thoughts and desires for you.
I watch this figure with a hazy view
and I try to settle whether this is true,
for what unfolds before my very eyes,
is a vision in my mind not yet defined.
And I sit and wait with amazing hope,
as I see this figure approach through a blanket so blue,
and I try to define what has always baffled the denied,
for the thoughts of man can at times be unkind.
But years shall pass before I will realize,
what this figure was trying to tell my heart,
for the very nature of mankind dictates to us
not to open the doors to our minds.
and now I know about the blanket of blue
which gives my conscience all its hues,
and while I wait for my heart to grow
the sea inside me shall always flow.

I would like to translate this poem
And I sit and wait with amazing hope, as I see this figure approach through a blanket so blue, and I try to define what has always baffled the denied, for the thoughts of man can at times be unkin.. A very fine poem indeed. tony
