Question And Answer Poem by Richard (Narad) Eggenberger

Question And Answer

Question and Answer

The Question no longer exists for me
But the answer still eludes
I feel the winds of eternity
Blowing the evening moods
Away from the inconscient being
Bringing the far now near.
Blinded still from the ultimate seeing
I live alone without fear
For deep in the chaliced heart I feel
The moments move towards Thee,
You have laid on me the godlike seal
And I grow in serenity.
The excesses of restless youth
No longer can apply
To seekers of the inner Truth,
Dissolving of the ‘I'.
India is my soul's domain
And man to her must cry
For guidance that he may attain
Beneath earth's burnished sky
The answer to the ages' quest
Ascent to higher man;
Until achieved there is no rest
Decreed since time began.
