Questions Of The Tormented Heart Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

Questions Of The Tormented Heart

My heart cracks and tears begin to fall
I sit in silence thinking about you
What is it that makes me love you?
Why do you mean the world to me?
I can’t even put these pieces together
I’ve been broken, beaten, distraught and destroyed
Tormented, forgotten, and even forlorn
Yet when I try to be so happy
I only fail miserably
Is there nothing that will make you happy?
Am I simply wasting my time?
Is there nothing I do to please you?
Do you even want to be mine?
I’ve tried so hard to make you smile
Tried so hard to make things better
Yet you’re so negative and it brings me down
Is there anything I can do to please you?
Is it to much for me to love you
Is it to much for me to care
I can’t help it if you mean the world to me
Is it wrong for me to want you
To pray that this works out
Because some times I feel so alone
Like you want nothing to do with me
Do you want to be with someone else
Do you want someone else to care
If that’s the case then let me down
I’ll just take my heart else where.
Cause I want this to work only if you do
If you don’t want me than tell me
I’ll be all right in the end
But please don’t play head games with me
Please just let me go if that’s the case
But know no matter what
My heart will always love you
