Quiet Emotions - Poem by sheilisa brown

I always wanted more from you more than you were willing to give.
Now that we have gone our separate ways and both of us has different lives to live
The bond will always be there, our friendship will always be intact but I believe the time for us has gone and the pages we have turned can’t be turned back.
We will always be the best of friends and I will always wonder how you are doing
Our cuts and scars will become painless
On those busy days when you have a million things to do, please let me glide thought your mind and spend some time.
In that quiet moments, when you’re surprised to find me there just remember, even with the distance between us I am still someone who cares.
