Quiet, reflecting moments
when love seems so estranged...
Hiding in the garden
I see the stars ascend.
Overhead, a lark sings
way up high-
I'm laughing
I could never fully
explain
the reasoning behind
my actions-
it would be as
easy as catching a sunbeam...
And as I watched you depart
my heart ceased to live-
the birds overhead,
their cries echoed mine.
