Quietness of My Restless Self

I have been waiting for You,
For Your sweet glance,
Years after years and
ages after ages,
from time immemorial,
Through pain and agony,
I have been waiting for you,
to have a flash of your Eyes,
However painful be the way,
However difficult is the Journey,
I wait for your sudden appearance
bearing every bite of My poor life.

Through every season of my life,
Summer, winter and spring,
Poignant heat or sheer quandary
of winter night,
the hailstorms of rainy season
and poverty beyond measure,
I wait for You with hope in heart
That You will come like
The sun and The Moon,
Obvious without false notion,
I live with anxious hope
to meet You very soon
and I Live with the sunshine
of every proof,
'You are' and You Will be there forever,
my heart knows.

I cry for help and
like a defeated man in the world
I pine for Your compassion,
pray for your attention for worldly pleasure,
All is false and every moment of my sorrow
is an excuse to move towards You,
I need nothing to be happy,
I want nothing in this corporeal world,
Only a flash of Your eyes is enough for me,
for my small existence,
The play of my mind is not to deceive You
but to receive You in my empty heart,
Only to sit close by You
I show my pain and wound.

My eyes are blank Now,
No ripple of thought is moving
there, no waves of Joy and sorrow,
Keeping myself away I will touch You
with My empty view,
My mind is now a soundless casement,
No wish to run towards You,
I know You are in everything
I see and You are everywhere,
My heart is now songless and no prayer
for Your special care,
My heart is an empty bowel
craving not for eternal happiness,
I am a flute of Your hands,
and music flows within without reason,
This is the way to feel You in every way
without moving towards You,
The waves of My mind cease
and I will demise without being Myself.
