Radish Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Radish

Radish

I want to act Sufi
Have mentor and a lead
To observe, for guiding
As some with Role-Model.

In my case and this time
Radish is the best one…

I bought some kept in bag
Gave it time; not so long
To eat them gradual.

Most grew from head
At same time and slow
Expanded roots and tails.

To tells me: "no steps
Until works the brain,
Lift head and present
Your being, presence;
But do so firm and well
By growth of the tail,
Live among your people
Know home and the nation."

I will act as radish
Grow leaves and speak
But also see the roots
And land where I live on.
