Floating on the abyss
Searching for somewhere to land
Trying to find internal bliss
Reaching out for mother nature’s hand
The current is leading me astray
My raft has sprung a leak
I don’t want to go this way
For I now have become too weak
I need to find that solid ground
The place to get my strength back
My mind is a merry-go-round
Spinning so fast I am afraid its going to crack
Every place I see is uninhabitable
Tiny islands of failure
Full of the blood-sucking cannibal
Where is the one with the cure
I am bailing water hoping I don’t drown
I see something in the distance
The water is pulling me down
Do I have enough strength for one more chance
Will I be able to reach that island far away
Will I be able to rest
Will it be the place I want to stay
Or will my journey continue on the raft of distress
