Rage Poem by Jennifer Peckins

Rage

Such rage; captured in every tear
Dripping down my face
Washing away every fear
But binding me to my own self-hatred
Locking out my hopes, my dreams
Tearing apart any love still left
Suffocating my silent screams
So I reach out for a hand to grab me
Just the coldness rushes past
I guess there’s nothing there just like my sanity
Laving me spinning way too fast
