........Raging Silence - Poem by elysabeth faslund

What color this, the heaviest emotion?
Pounds per lost words...
Golden? Hardly.
We turn lost gold, to blue...with
Words nourished internally.
Protected failures.

What color eyes scream loudest...
What size hands, frantically appealing...
What size lips, holding back emotion
Weighty as Black Holes...

Word feathers tickling deafness
Of love, truth, dignity...

And, my kitten silently mews, 'Hello, '
When, tired from work, I say, 'Hello Angel.'
Eyes, heavy of love. Loving companion.

More love than Human.
What would I give...
