Don’t you love a happy ending?
To hear a special story
About folks who had nothing
And then felt a sense of glory

Perhaps living in poverty
And then after working very hard
They attain everything they need
A nice house and pretty yard

They can afford to give the ones
Who mean the most to them
A life that is more comfortable
Their world is not so grim

I love to hear the stories of
Folks who finally have enough
It’s much more than just money
It’s a life of security, not ‘stuff’

I’m sure you know of stories too
That unfold with many glitches
Those folks who have a wonderful life
And have gone from Rags to Riches!
