Rain - Poem by kayla fountain

The way the rain falls on my skin
feels as if it is making my skin come off
shedding the pain and sins i have made
lies I have told
fear i have encouraged

The way the rain falls
makes me wonder if i would ever get over you
i want to stand in the rain and hold you close

i stand there astonished and noticing
i caused your heart ache and fear
my fault that can't be fixed by a sorry

The way the rain falls on my skin
feels as if it is making my skin come off
shedding the pain and sins i have made
lie I have told
fear i have encouraged
And things too late to change
