Rain Poem by Beverley Warren

Rain

Rain drops are falling,
The process begins,
The cleansing of our earth,
Mankind and their sins,
Rejuvenating the mind, body and soul,
This planet we live on is taking its toll,
Toxins destroying the air that we breathe,
Another life is gone so someone will grieve,
The ozone growing bigger,
We should be concerned,
So get off your butt and save the planet from the burn,
Our existence is paramount,
Don't go with the flow,
Stand up and fight for your life as you know,
You will make a difference,
If everybody cares,
This wonderful world, that everybody shares,
So next time it rains celebrate you are alive,
Do what you can so our planet can survive.
