Rain - Poem by varsha priyadarshini
Pit! Pat! Pit! Pat
And here comes the rain
Like a beautiful river, originating from the skies
Accompanied by lightening cast and then..
The strange, strong, dangerious thunder
Shouted the whole class
With 100 eyes gleaming at each other with fear and exitement
Pleading to the teacher to let then go out and play
PIT! PAT! PATTER! the rain continued...
And as the teacher continued..
I looked outside
Farmer singing, Trees singing, wind whistleing, clouds crying
Soil bathing, animals and birds playing hide and seek between the tress.. those made me sleepy
A cool breeze blew through me
making me shiver
Another came a ligthening flash as if taking my shivering photo
and all of a sudden a thunder flash
It stopped, Rain stopped
all my friends gave a big'HUH'
I closed my eyes and wished
RAIN RAIN COME AGAIN
COME ATLEAST FOR ANOHER DAY
FOR ME AND MY FRIENDS
FOR ALL THOSE RAIN LOVERS
PLEASE COME AGAIN! ! !
