Rain Poem by John Leon

Rain

The sky crys, sweet summer night air
Falls down upon me, everywhere
Splashing across the thick asphalt
Swimming down the city's halls
A lost memory floats back to me,
Of another rainy day
Soaked in recollection,
These waters have been here before
Those Heavenly levees have broken once more
