Rain For A Friend I'V Lost In A Rain Poem by Sameeyath Mohammed

That was the day,
that twisted ma way
from the happy nodes of life
to a dark forlorn eve.
I found ma foe
lean onto ma soul,
with the night light drops
that trickled down my nerves.
The thunder shouted at me,
clouds whispered,
I cursed the drops
that took ma friend away,
I cursed the wind
that blew him away,
why has the blunt fate
have to curl onto ma mate?
Why has the cruel time
hav to crush away ma hymn?
Oh! he was ma music
when i was the string;
Where has he gone
away with the song,
but i can still hear his words
spoken by our hearts.
When the wind blew west,
and the rain came from rest,
we rejoiced the most,
unknowing this was the last.
When the cold breeze
touched ma knees,
and the drizzling rain
came down the lane;
And then the water
raised with our laughter
Oh! we've not realized,
it was the paralyzed.
When we jumped to ecstasy
and the snow seemed hazy,
I lost his hand..and
and..I lost him.
Lost him to the earth
and I've missed ma life.
I heard him cry
the last words of life;
'I'll always be back
with this sweet shower
ma scent of wisdom
would then spread the power.'
And from then i waits
for that sweet shower
that took ma friend away
and brings back the day...
