Rainbow Poem by NRUSINGHA MISHRA

Rainbow

Strange do I feel about my origin and sudden appearance in one sense as I am far away
Drops of water and rays of sun have a prefect union like a tryst with destiny
There is a reason why I am here as an expression of the wondrous creation
It is beyound me and I know that it is also beyond others reason
Looking and fallng in love with myself with this rare colors display in the limitless sky
Feel fortunate sharing pleasures and happiness with everybody in an elevated spirit of duty
Aware of the transiency of my existence just enjoying the present and like the way I am
Not thinking too much what is the meaning of life and when I am coming next time
It is not the lenthg of time of my gross presence but it is the subtle feeling I leave behind
How many hearts I am going to touch that counts erasing pain and sorrows in the grind
Seeing the peacocks down dancing in pure joy and ecstasy
Just longing for more love soaked in rain drops adding to their beauty
